Geoff, Jordi, Lee, and I have signed up to take part in this year’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk with Team Jaunt for Jaxon.

The boys and Lee will be doing the Wee Wander (5 miles), while some of the other mums and I are taking on the Mighty Stride (20 miles).

We’re doing this to support an amazing charity that’s incredibly close to our hearts.

Jaxon was a brilliant little boy – and Geoff’s best friend. The two of them were always smiling and laughing, even after Jaxon’s devastating diagnosis last year with a Diffuse Midline Glioma (DIPG) – a rare and terminal brain tumour affecting the brain stem.

After a brave fight, Jaxon sadly passed away on 14th December 2024, just eight months after his diagnosis.

The kids are determined to keep Jaxon’s memory alive and make sure Jaxon’s Gift gets the support it deserves. This walk is our way of raising funds to help continue the important work being done in his name.

Jaxon’s Gift was created by Jaxon’s parents, family, and friends to support other children and families facing similar situations. It also aims to give back to our local community – which showed incredible support to Jaxon’s family during their toughest time.
