Story
In memory of my little cousin Oliver, I have decided to join Matthew’s team to compete in Cheddar Gorge’s “Race the Sun”. This event includes a 50km cycle, a 15km walk and a 3km kayak. This is a fitting tribute to Oliver as he was always found outdoors either cycling, walking or following a pack of beagles!
The event takes place July, just before the anniversary of the bus crash on Exmoor.
I'm part of a team taking on Race the Sun Cheddar Gorge for children's charity Action Medical Research. In July I will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a challenging course in a race against the sun.I'm racing in memory of my cousin Oliver and in aid of children's charity, Action Medical Research. They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.By supporting our team you will be helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.Thank you so much for your support.
