Story
Davina (Denise's sister) and I (Denise's daughter-in-law-not-legally-you-didn't-miss-the-wedding) are walking the Great East End Walk on 4th September to raise money for St Joseph's hospice. As many of you know, Denise passed away at the hospice last October.
St Joseph’s Hospice opened in Hackney in 1905, and since then has been caring for and supporting people affected by serious illness in eight London boroughs. They work to improve the quality of life of more than 2,100 patients with life-limiting conditions each year, helping them live life to the full, to the very last. They also support relatives through bereavement. They need to raise £16,000 each day to keep their vital services running and available to the 2.2 million people in their diverse community, so every penny raised for the hospice is really important, and very much appreciated.
