On Sunday 14th July Johanna Govan and I are running to raise money for our niece Charlotte. Charlotte is a triplet who was born prematurely at 29 weeks.

As a result of a lack of oxygen after she was born, Charlotte has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. This means that she has difficulty moving her arms and legs, as well as problems with eating and talking. However, Charlotte has a sharp brain, quick wit and likes to do the same things as her brothers, Billy and Sam.

We are raising money so that Charlotte can access all the (very expensive) equipment that will enable her to do the things that other 3.5 year olds do and make her life as comfortable and full as possible.
