As some of you may know I only leant to swim about 2 years ago. Since September 2014, I started to swim with more focus and to give myself a challenge I agreed to push myself to a one mile swim. (Silly I know)

The Great Manchester swim 2015 is on the anniversary of my Nana's passing. She was an inspirational lady and I want to celebrate her life by raising as much money as I can to help this great charity.

Having experienced through my Nana and know how devastating this illness can be I felt this was a great way to help and also gives me the focus to complete this event.
