The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for visiting our page, we really appreciate it.

We are raising money in aid of The Prince’s Trust by attempting a virtual JOGLE (John O'Groats to Land End) across 8 weeks between 12th Sept and 4th Nov 2016.

As a team of 10 that means committing to walking or running 17 kilometres per week for each of us, whilst also aiming to raise £5000 in sponsorship.

Being a mixed team of aspiring coach potatoes and budding MAMILS (Middle Aged Men in Lycra), our biggest challenge could be mustering the enthusiasm needed to keep hitting the roads week-after-week for something more than a 2 week fitness fad.

The cause however is a good one, as the Prince's Trust have been helping young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training for over 40 years.  That should be inspiration enough.
