Spencer Lynx provides free hockey sessions for kids in years 5 and 6 in the Lambeth and Wandsworth boroughs, teaching the sport, organising games and helping youngsters stay active.

The sessions are run by super-committed, fun coaches. They're sometimes joined by professional hockey players, invited along to inspire the children. Past guests have included England internationals Darcy Bourne and Rhys Smith.

My son, Dylan, has benefited from this fantastic initiative for the past two years. 

I am running this half marathon as a thank you for all their hard work, whatever the weather!

“Every penny raised will allow us to continue introducing hockey to a wider, diverse and inclusive audience among local state school children. Our aim is to increase children’s mental wellbeing along with the benefit of being part of a local club.”
