National 3 Peaks 3 Day Challenge · 27 August 2021

Set up in memory of Rosie May Storrie, age 10, who was brutally murdered in 2003. The Rosie May Foundation is a little charity with a BIG vision committed to creating a living legacy for children, especially girls, giving them a future that Rosie May was denied. "Make A Difference Together"

Story

I began my Rosie May journey as a volunteer Tuk Tuk driver, delivering medication and food to isolating and vulnerable members of the local community whilst on furlough from my previous employers.

I made friends with the other volunteers, Mary and our beneficiaries. A few  months later the position of Fundraising Manager became available and it was a natural transition to become a working member into the Rosie May family.

I’ve built up a wonderful friendship with Mary and everyone involved in the charity. I’ve never worked in the third sector but it’s been an amazing insight and something I feel so passionate about.

We’ve been massively affected financially due to Covid and the impact that’s had on our events calendar so I’d love to make a personal contribution to support this wonderful cause.

Part of this total is to go toward the cost of my challenge.

Please help me by giving whatever you can, I and the Rosie May team are most grateful.
