Brighton Marathon 2018 · 15 April 2018 ·

The Southend Cystic Fibrosis Association aims to provide equipment and services to improve the quality of life of those with CF in the Southend area (Post Code SS0-SS9). The charity is run entirely by volunteers.

Story

Evie-Rose was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis on 31/10/2011 at just 3 weeks old, it was a shock for the whole family. I remember the knock at the door from a specialist at great ormond Street 10 minute later my perfect little baby girl was not so perfect she had a life limiting condition with the average life expectancy of 30! As you can imagine we were heartbroken and felt so useless that there was nothing we could do and there is currently no cure for CF.

We have had great support from southend cf association, they help local family’s in southend and surrounding area, with funding for medical equipment, exercise classes, Hospital admission, traveling to and from Hospital and more. It is a amazing charity that is self sufficient and rely solely on fund raising and donations.

So I’d like to say thank you for all there help and try and raise some money for them, you can help me 🙏🏻 By donating and supporting me whilst I take place in the Brighton marathon.
