Chloe and Lucy's Close Shave · 29 June 2018

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Chloe Beaton and Lucy Edwards have decided to cut all their hair off to send to The Little Princess Trust, and to then shave the rest of their hair off to raise money for Cancer Research.

Each of the girls has lost someone close in the last year to Cancer and have decided that it is time to fight back!

Chloe's Nana, Nora, passed away in August 2017 after a 3 year battle with the disease. Lucy's Auntie Jane passed away when she was younger due to the terrible disease and last month a close family friend, Dean Francis, also lost his battle. The girls would like to honour the memory of these lost loved ones and to help the ongoing battle that Cancer Research undertake every day.

Join them at The Poacher, in Portishead on Friday 29th June 2018 at 7pm.

Also, Chloe, Lucy, Emma, Sammie and Tai will be running the Race for Life the next day, to also raise money.
