Our incredible #TeamMyelomaUK will be taking on 13.1 miles to help make myeloma history.

Story

As some of you may or may not know my grandad has in the last few days been diagnosed with Myeloma. Myeloma is a form of blood bone cancer that affects the plasma cells and over produces antibodies that are not useful. This is a cancer that affects less that 2% of cancer patients and only 55,000 of people in the UK have it, so before my Grandad was diagnosed with it I hadn’t heard of it. As my gran was a Stroke patient who suffered with Alzheimers and now my grandad has cancer I feel like it’s my time to give back!

Soooo, I’m going to do the Great North Run this September 9th in Newcastle! If you know me well you’ll know that me and exercise do not go together whatsoever, so this will be the most amazing motivation to get me fit and for an amazing cause! With the help of my new trainer and best friend running along side me (Jack Page) this is going to be good fun!

Please donate what you can and any support leading up to the big run would be amazing!

Please remember to gift aid if you are a tax payer!
