On the 21st of April, I will be participating in THE RIDE 2018.

For the past year I have worked in Ty Gwyn Special School as part of the physiotherapy team. I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to work at such a fantastic school with the most caring and enthusiastic staff. The children at the school will stay in my heart forever. The Friends of Ty Gwyn charity support the families of the  children and raise money to fund equipment for the school, such as a new mini bus. As a parting gift for the end of my rotation, I have decided to join members of the schools staff and some of the parents on this epic 100 mile bike ride to raise money for the Friends of Ty Gwyn. 

This event was set up so children from TY GWYN SPECIAL SCHOOL can take part in and experience the overwhelming support and cheers as they take on the last leg of the ride and cross the finish line like the true hero's that they are!!

THE RIDE 2018 will be a 100mile round trip, starting at 6am at TY GWYN SPECIAL SCHOOL and finishing around 4pm at FAIRWATER CONSERVATIVE CLUB, where there will be refreshments for all riders once we get through the screaming family and friends who will be there to cheer us across the finish line. 

Any donations, or advise on how to survive would be very much appreciated.
