We all wanted like Ava to climb a mountain for charity as a family , so when the opportunity came along to raise money for together for short lives who give money to local hospices like our local hospice Claire house, we knew straight away what we wanted to do and have set the date in July to walk moel famou.

Ava has been selected for the semi finals for Little Miss Teen Great Britain!!! She is so happy she's been chosen and wants to help to raise for a great charity.

As a family we rely on our local hospice Claire House who support us by giving us some much needed respite and sibling support. Together for short lives provide funding to all hospices around the country who rely totally on funding to run each and everyday.

Avas older brother jack has quadriplegic cerebral palsy from a birth injury, he has a life expectancy of 23 years from what doctors have told us but they also said he wouldn't see age 2 years and he's our super hero. . Jack requires 24/7 care one to one, he has lots of medical needs so Ava has been a young carer throughout her young life helping care and support her brother keeping him safe. Spending months in hospital as a baby with her brother and waiting playing in hospital. Jack has a tracheotomy breathing tube, a gastrostomy feeding tube, he's visually impaired and has severe epilepsy thats very hard to control meaning he can have lots of seizures daily and it's uncertain when he will have one. Jack has scoliosis of the spine which has got worse in 1 year and might need surgery in the future. This is where his spine has become curved. Jack had to have hip surgery last year to place metal plate and rods in both hips so he wouldn't be in pain anymore due to subluxation of his left hip dysplastic acetabulum. Jack is non verbal, needs medication everyday, nebs and chest physio daily to keep him well and out of hospital as he has excessive oral secretion production. Jack also requires oxygen and airvo breathing machine at night as he can get very tired and get chest infections resulting in staying in hospital. As you can imagine family life can become very difficult, hospital appointments, hospital stays, physio therapy and this has an impact on Ava going places ect but regardless she's been such an amazing young girl who is very supportive, very caring which makes us so proud of the young girl she's become.

Please help us raise for a great charity who helps families around the county needing support from there local hospices just like us with Claire house.

Thankyou
