I am aiming to raise £1200 for Mencap by completing a Trek in Switzerland, Italy and France in the Mont Blanc region over 3 days.

Mencap support individuals who have a learning disability along with their families and carers.

• 6% of adults with a learning disability known to their local authority in England are in paid work.
• About 25% of people with a learning disability have epilepsy, compared to 1% of the general population.

The Trek involves on average 7 hours of walking each day.

This will be a challenge for me and will put me out of my comfort zone to meet new people as I don't know anyone else who is completing the challenge.

Pictures - My pictures were taken in Innsbruck, but I cheated a little bit as I got a cable car to the top of the mountain for these pictures. My next pictures at the top of the mountain will be once I have completed the challenge!
