I have set myself a challenge to run five 10k's over the next year, one in each of the areas covered by ELHT's five hospitals - the first being the Ron Hill Accrington 10k on the 3 March. I’m not a runner, so for me this a will be a personal challenge, particularly my first run, which I will just be happy to complete!! I've also set myself an ambitious goal of achieving a finish time of under 60 minutes -  which I'm a long way off, but hopefully by race five, will be in my sights!!

Being a small part of making a difference to this incredible hospital charity is amazing and hopefully if I can 'do my bit' to raise as much money as possible it will inspire others to do the same.
