Yorkshire Three Peaks · 1 August 2021

We support 3 hospitals in Uganda, help to improve access to mental health services and reduce stigma around mental illness. We also fundraise for Wood Street Mission who support Manchester families living in poverty. These partnerships enable us to improve wellbeing and make a lasting difference

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our Diveristy Travel team is undertaking a mammoth trek across the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks, walking a distance just shy of a marathon (24 miles) and a total ascent more than Ben Nevis (1586m) all under 12 hours on Sunday the 1st August. We need your support to make all the blisters, sweat and tears (of joy) worth it.

We are raising money for our in house charity The Diversity Foundation who provide much needed financial support to the mental health outreach services of the Bwindi Community Hospital in Western Uganda. The lack of recognition and understanding means that up to 90% of those suffering do not receive treatment of any kind. Help us to address this by supporting the valuable work that the hospital has been doing.

Together we will make a difference!
