As many of you already know last year my amazing wife suffered from an horrific health scare.  Late in January 2020 Emma was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with Viral Encephalitis. The effects of this are something Emma has to live with for the rest of her life, suffering with memory loss around the period of the illness, chronic fatigue, headaches,  numbness and Epilepsy.

Emma is an absolute rock star and having spent 2020 recovering from the initial virus and getting herself back to her new normal we finally tied the knot in September and come January Emma started back to work with the Carers Trust.

The Encephalitis Society have been an amazing source of help and support so to show my appreciation myself and my best man Matt will be walking 100kms from Minehead, North Devon to Dawlish, South Devon.  Leaving off on the 24th July.

In preparation for this I shall also be completing the Cotswold 25km on the 26th June and the Peak District 50km on the 3rd.  Making my challenge into the Ultra Tri-Challenge 25k-50k-100k.
