In 2022, my Dad, David Woods, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) have offered their support to Dad and we know that they will be a vital part of this journey for my Dad and our family.

Shortly after Dad's diagnosis, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2023 was announced and I knew that this was something I wanted to do to raise vital funds and awareness for MND. 

MNDA improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. They fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments, and brings us closer to a cure for MND. They campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND and everyone who cares for them are recognised and addressed by wider society.
