Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) raises funds to accelerate the pace of research to get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. SU2C, a division of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was established in 2008 by film and media leaders who utilize the industry's resources to engage the public in supporting a new, collaborative model of cancer research, and to increase awareness about cancer prevention as well as progress being made in the fight against the disease. I am so excited (and a little nervous) to announce that on the 3rd of May 2022 I will be taking part in a charity fundraising event called Macmillan’s Brave The Shave. 

The event will be hosted live on YouTube and will be in memory of my friend Sean who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021 and in support of all those affected by cancer. 

The shave will be live-streamed on the Emma Cruises YouTube channel. 

The fundraiser will raise money for Macmillan and Stand up to Cancer. My hair will be donated to the little princess trust to make wigs for children that have lost their own hair through cancer or other conditions.
