On Christmas Day my beautiful baby sister Jess passed away suddenly at only 24 years old.

When she was 14 months old Jess was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare form of cancer that normally only affects adults. Jess had the majority of her treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Surrey. This hospital became a home for our family for the next 5 months, we spent Christmas there and we made and lost friends.

Thanks to the amazing Doctors and Nurses and all the staff there, they treated Jess and she thankfully went into remission. Because of our amazing NHS we got to watch her grow into a beautiful young woman. Thanks to them we got another 22 years with her. We will always be grateful to them.

We initially set up this page in order to ask people for donations in Jess' honour as opposed to flowers at her Life Celebration. Our original target was £500, it was never about how much we raised, just something nice in Jess' name that could possibly make a small difference. We believe that Jess would be so honoured that money raised in her name could go towards helping another child have a future, could help another family have more time.

Obviously now, after the amazing response we have received, we are now hoping to raise as much as possible for Jess' Legacy. We want to do everything we can to raise as much money as possible for a truly amazing cause. We want to make Jess proud and to make her a legend. We have a LOT of different fundraising plans in mind and our total will slowly go up and up.
