Peak District Ultra Challenge 2023 · 8 July 2023 to 9 July 2023 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

You're possibly here because you really like raising money for the British Heart Foundation. Or, because you know my level of idiocy when signing up for ridiculous tasks and have come along for the ride. So, here goes... this time, I'm swapping out the bike and the Alps for hiking boots and 100k of Peak District terrain.

Either way, thank you for making it to the first part of the journey! The part that holds me accountable to finish this ridiculous challenge and also supports a charity close to my heart (pun intended).

The British Heart Foundation has always been my go-to charity. As kids, my bro and I would run the 2-mile fun runs to Dad's 10k races, raising money for the BHF along the way. As the challenges changed, the charity stayed the same.

We've lost a few good people to heart conditions over the years and this is my way of giving a little something back. If I had a dark sense of humour, I may even say it was an 'investment' for the future (you never know).

My goal is to raise £350 for the BHF and I'd be extremely grateful if you could put a couple of quid in, maybe a fiver, or even a tenner for those who really want to enjoy my suffering (I'll send pics).

Thanks in advance and see you on the other side!
