Hi everyone, I am fundraising for two special charities which are both close to my heart 💕. They are 'Belfast City Hospital Bowel Unit ' & Pretty 'n' Pink' Breast Cancer Charity. My much loved Granny passed away with bowel cancer last year & this is in her memory & also family members affected by breast cancer 🥲💕. Granny was a kind, generous , warm lady who lived for her family & grandchildren! She faced her diagnosis with an unbelievable courage, a determined spirit & never complained. Rather than two separate fund raising events the money will be split evenly between both charities!!! As you can only set up a 'Just giving’' page for one charity , Pretty n Pink have agreed to collect any monies in their name & they said will be honoured to divide money evenly between both. They will provide me with a cheque which I will collect & present to the "Bowel Unit".
This challenge will be two separate events in the same month. Firstly on the 18th April I am walking a marathon which will be 26.2 miles. I will be joined by my family members: Ian, Mummy, Calum, George (our little brothers Ethan & Ronan will join us for the last 5 miles). Secondly I will be completing the 'Pretty n Pink ' April challenge of 75 miles completed in the month. Again I will be joined by my wee mummy, Janice Bamford & her work colleagues June Whiteside & Angela Miskimmin. This event is in support of June Whiteside who is a huge advocate for 'Pretty n Pink' being a cancer survivor herself & from appreciating their help, she now gives back! 💞She has a great outlook on life & an unbeatable spirit which we all as woman admire.
