Event: London Marathon 2022, on 2 October 2022
We have an intrepid group of runners, #TeamSpinal, that will be taking on the first and only Virtual Virgin Money London Marathon on 4th October to raise vital funds for Spinal Research.

Story

Spinal Research have been kind enough to offer me a place in the London Marathon. My running journey only started in Feb 2018 as a new way to keep fit. I have met lots of different people running that do so for all different reasons.

Spinal research help people with terrible spinal injuries , every day in the UK and Ireland 3 people are paralyzed following damage to their spinal cord. Those affected have life's deeply affected by things that we all take for granted , even breathing can be affected. By helping raise money to fund experimental treatments, this can in turn be used to transform the lifes of those affected by spinal injuries. In additon , this can also help those with Parkinson's , Motor Neurone disease as well.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated , as they receive no government funding.

Thanks so much.
