Thanks for taking the time to visit my new fundraising page.
After the amazing generosity of my friends and family enabled me to raise £500 for The Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust, my attention has now turned to raising money for a second amazing charity; the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. As I like to challenge myself, I'm now aiming to raise at least £1000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
My good friend and mentor Geoff Petts has been undergoing treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London since the start of the year.
I'd therefore love to raise at least £1000 as a way of saying "thank-you" to the Royal Marsden Hospital for helping Geoff and many, many others.
As I'm aware that running 13.1 miles isn't particularly difficult for me, I've also set myself the challenge of running at least 1000 km and completing 10 parkruns and 10 races in 2018.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
So please, please dig deep and help me smash my fundraising target.
