LimbPower offer relief to the physically disabled by aiding rehabilitation and improving the quality of life through the medium of recreational and competitive sports and arts, for the locomotor disabled.

Story

Living with complex regional pain is tough  but it’s next level limiting when it impacts your mobility and restricts your participation in all the stuff you used to love doing (playing football, basketball & rugby).

Adapting to wheelchair life has been really challenging at times. Access  to most/many things is rarely straightforward: lifts are regularly out of order  and ramps are always furthest away. To many people you become invisible and to a small percentage you become inconvenient and they shout abuse at you.

Participating in a LimbPower swimming challenge last summer was a turning point and it ended up being the catalyst for beginning to tackle walking. Learning to re-walk as a teenager has been a tough road to navigate. But after months of continually showing up for hydro and gym sessions Conrad is finally back on his feet and looking forward to tackling  the 02 climb.
