Yes, you read that right, I’m running a 10k. I’m not a runner, nor have I run a race like this before. But, I'm passionate about raising awareness and welcoming refugees and asylum seekers to our city, so i'm going to do it.

 Upbeat Communities are a charity in Derby doing amazing things to ensure refugees are made to feel welcome in the city, building friendships and supporting one another but there is still so much more to be done. To walk alongside some of the most inspirational people is a privilege but there are still people unreached and in need of support. 

Please help me to raise funds to allow this work to continue or come and cheer me on!
