10k is just over 6 miles... I can do that right? Apparently it should take about an hour n half... :/

I really should train more!! How far is 10k? Anyone can do 10k with a bit of training If you have taken part in Race for Life before, our 10k events are a great way to up the challenge or 10k might just be a distance better suited for you. 10 kilometres is just over 6 miles, it may sound a little daunting but it's an achievable challenge for anyone with a bit of training. 10k is… walking around the O2 or Wembley stadium ten times. strolling once around Holyrood Park in Edinburgh finishing at the Scott Monument. walking from Cambridge to Grantchester, beginning at the station and taking in the sights of the Botanical gardens, Midsummer Common and Queen’s College along the way. a jaunt along Beachy Head from Eastbourne Old Town to Birling Gap, with a short diversion to the Belle Tout Lighthouse. walking in a loop from the Royal Armouries museum in Leeds, around Leeds University and Woodhouse Moor. a trip from Camden to the Royal Festival Hall in London – but only if you make sure to stop off at Madame Tussaud's waxworks and Hyde Park along the way! a walk beginning at Cardiff Bay then heading north via Cardiff Castle and circle Cathays Park and Bute Park. Follow the river south, finishing up at the beautiful marina. a trip through Belfast, beginning at Belfast Cathedral and heading south via the Grand Opera House, Queen’' University and the Botanic Gardens. Then follow the river south to Lagan Meadows.
Help Marie Curie Nurses care for more terminally ill people and their families.
I'm taking part in Walk Ten Kent at Sissinghurst Castle to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Please sponsor me and help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.
£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.
Thank you for your support.
