Story

Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A year ago I watched the Llanduno Triathlon I have entered with my mum. She said then I should do it! I laughed and said I will – one day. I never thought then my mum would not last the year.

My mum was diagnoesd with Multiple Myleoma in 2010, Myeloma is a cancer of the bone marrow, there is no cure.

St Davids provided help and support for my mum whenever she was out of hospital, as both a day patient and finally a home with 24 hour support in her final weeks.

My mum never had a bad word to say about the place. So this is my little way in which to try and help this fantastic charity that provides such great support for the local community.

I am going to attempt to do the 'Sprint' triathlon, which is the half distance of the Olympic one. I have been training for 12 weeks and have another 8, at this time of writing....lets hope I come good! yikes!
