Story
I am skipping for 26 minutes this Sunday to raise vital funds for Marie Curie because their nurses are on the front line caring for patients in their final hours and giving incredible support to loved ones. The Bereavement support line is also there 7 days a week to give comfort to those in isolation and anyone who needs a listening ear. Marie Curie serves are there to support the NHS during this difficult time and keeping patients who are dying away from busy hospitals. They are their no matter what but the charity needs to raise over £13K an hour to keep going. I can’t promise to raise £13K but it would be amazing if you could donate £2.60 or whatever you can to help this wonderful charity. Thank you and stay safe xx
Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
