Story
So this year I have decided to do two runs firstly Run Norwich in July and then Royal Parks London Half Marathon to raise money for Mind.
As most of you know I have worked in mental health for nearly 15 years (showing my age!) and during that time Mind have always been there. They do some fantastic work with young people, adults and carers offering 1:1 support, advice, guidance, education around mental health and courses.
Personally, doing a half marathon is quite a challenge for me. I’ve always been pretty useless at sports and never really enjoyed it until I found running so taking part in a half marathon is a big step. Running for me has also been very positive for my own emotional wellbeing.
I know things are tight for us all now but if you can even spare a pound or two I would be very grateful.
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.Mind believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They'll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.
