Acid violence is a particularly vicious form of premeditated violence, where acid is thrown usually at the face to disfigure, maim and blind, but not to kill. We provide medical expertise and training to 6 partner organisations, raise valuable funds to support survivors and help to change laws.

Story

In July of this year I'll be running my first marathon ever with my dad, with the goal of raising $10,000 for Acid Survivors Trust International.

On a local level, ASTI supports in-country partners in India, Pakistan, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Nepal and Uganda, and uses their funds to help survivors of acid violence (overwhelmingly women and children) rebuild their lives through medical and emotional support.

On an international level, ASTI works tirelessly to undertake in-depth research and raise the profile of acid violence with the aim to one day eradicate this form of abuse.

Thank you very much for visiting my site and supporting me and ASTI. The work they do is truly incredible and the bravery of acid violence survivors continues to astound me.
