600 Miles September
Campaign by Lancashire Mind (RCN 1081427)
We know the last year has been difficult for everyone, not just those experiencing poor mental health, and we know that now more than ever, local people need the help of Lancashire Mind.

Story

Our team; Gaz, Daniel, Rachel & I plan to cycle, hike & kayak 600 miles in September to raise money for Lancashire MIND and support their work for better mental health.

We have planned two big team events in September including ‘The Guild Wheel’ - a 21 mile cycle trail and the Yorkshire ‘Three Peaks Challenge’ - a 24 mile hiking challenge. Both of these will be huge physical and mental challenges, but with team work I believe we will achieve both of them.

Additionally, I’ll be walking and cycling daily, and kayaking locally to make up my own personal miles.

Our aim is to collectively reach the 600 Mile Challenge (150 miles each) & raise £600 (£1 a mile) for Lancashire Mind.

This charity is local to where we live and is also the charity my business supports through the sale of donated plant ‘babies’. Although every penny makes a difference, it would be wonderful to raise a significant sum towards the charity’s work.

Getting outdoors benefits everyone’s mental health & what better way to fundraise than by spending more time outdoors to achieve this.

We would love your support by donating or by taking part in the challenge yourself.
