Between 2017 and 2021, Nottingham Hospitals Charity enhanced care for bereaved parents and families in Nottingham through its support for Zephyr's, which provided counselling, peer support, drop-in sessions, creative activities and events. The Zephyr's centre received over 4,000 visits in 4 years. In December 2021 Zephyr's became independent of Nottingham Hospitals Charity, focusing on creativity and community in its support for bereaved families. At this point the Zephyr's centre site at City Hospital was renamed The Robin Centre and funded by Nottingham Hospitals Charity continues to provide a safe space for bereaved patients and families to receive pastoral care.
