Yasmin and I are taking on the biggest challenge either of us have ever faced. We are attempting to complete The Elements 8k Obstacle Challenge Race which involves us getting extremely dirty and running, neither of which appeals to me at all, Yasmin on the other hand likes the sound of getting dirty! It will be packed with obstacles and mental challenges that we will need to overcome.

We both hate running and have never done an obstacle race in our lives (obviously I've managed to hold out a lot longer than Yasmin!) This will not be pretty and the hardest thing we've ever done apart from primary school maths...

...but it's for an amazing cause. You all know I work for the hospice but not everyone knows I too have had family that have benefitted from the FREE special services and care that our patients and families receive from the amazing staff here. For YOUR local hospice to continue to be here for many more families in the future we need to keep supporting the hospice today.

2019 sees me into my 15th year and in this time I have supported thousands of people to do some wonderful things for us, but now it's my turn and I need you guys to sponsor myself and Yasmin in return. Our target is £1,500, £100 for every year I've worked. This total could fund a community nurse for just over a week supporting patients in their own homes.
