Story
I was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer in March this year. I have had fantastic support from friends, family, work colleagues and the Oncology department at Walsall Manor so now I want to do something positive. Breast Cancer Now is commited to finding new treatments for everyone with Breast Cancer. For me, new treatments could give me a better quality of life and more time with loved ones. Now, I'm no Paula Radcliffe, so I will do my very best to do the 100miles but I may have to start this month.😅 I have cancer in my spine and pelvis so I'm slow but I need a challenge! If you could sponsor me anything you can I would be really grateful. 🙏🩷
This October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I’ll be walking 100 Miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.
During those 31 days, breast cancer will take almost 1,000 lives in the UK. They are mums and daughters, friends and colleagues. Someone loved. Someone lost.
Breast Cancer Now has a bold vision - that by 2050, everyone affected by breast cancer will live and live well. And every pound raised this October will help fund their life-saving science and life-changing support, so they can make their vision a reality.
Will you support me in going the distance for Breast Cancer Now? 🎀
