It's Ashbury's 10th Birthday! As part of our celebrations we are holding a charity fundraiser and being encouraged to 'do good' to fundraise. It's called Ashbury’s ‘10 for 10 years’, and it is all about my colleagues and I completing activities that are doing good for others or ourselves. The main challenge will be a 10km walk or run.

But, I thought I'd do something different and offer a benefit for donating to me, by asking people to donate to me in exchange for a baked treat of their choice.

My goal is to make a minimum of 10 bakes, but ideally more, so that I can reach my personal goal of raising £250. All donations are welcome. Even I can't bake something got you this month, I am happy to owe an IOU for when I will eventually see you! All donations without an incentive are also soso welcome.

Cancer is a horrible disease and affects us all. We personally lost a great man at far too early an age at the start of this year, to cancer, and it really brings home the pain it brings to both those suffering from it but also all their loved ones. Anything that can be done to push forward research to save even one more life is worth it. It wasn't the first loss we have had and was not the last either :(
