Story
Established in memory of Captain David Seath, who tragically died running the 2016 London Marathon in support of Help for Heroes.
Since then, David’s legacy has raised over £340,680.00, supporting hundreds of veterans and their families, through Help for Heroes.
David served with distinction in Afghanistan with 19th Regiment Royal Artillery, who later earned the coveted green beret to serve with 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery.
Establishing David’s fund, and raising money towards it, is our way of embodying the commando spirit in being the first to understand, adapt and respond in the face of adversity.
David’s fund has helped veterans recover from life-changing physical and psychological wounds, deliver employability and skills training, meet health and social care needs, enable vital mental health services and fund a variety of sport and camaraderie events.
