We raise funds to support stroke survivors to engage in activity and exercise

Story

As you know my dad loves to ride his bike for miles and miles. Recently my dad suffered a sudden bleed to the brain cause him to have a stroke. He has spent 5 day in the intensive care unit at Salford Royal Hospital and is now being looked after in the hyper acute stroke unit. This has left my dad very confused which has been made worse by the fact we are unable to visit him in the hospital. We are very grateful for the care and treatment that has been provided so far by the staff at Salford Royal Hospital.

Myself, uncle and grandad will be cycling 300 miles in July to raise money for the stroke charity 'A Stroke of Luck'.

A Stroke of Luck was founded by a Stroke Survivor who knows what it is like to live in a world post-stroke. Stroke of luck has been established to provide stroke survivors with the opportunity to access Experts' services to aid their recovery and rehabilitation. The charity aims to enable stroke survivors to become socially mobile by improving their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. A Stroke of Luck, provides a pathway to a happier future through engaging survivors in becoming as active as possible.

Any donations will be gratefully received.

Thank you
