Story

Hello there and thank you for following a link to this site.

Yes I'm both mad enough to want to run 26 miles and lucky enough to have got a place in the London Marathon this April. If my uncle Murray can do it, so can I (the one with raised hands in the photo) though I'm expecting it'll take a little longer...

If you have decided to sponsor me, thank you. All money raised will go to Link Community Development, the charity that supported my work at a rural school in South Africa in 2006. The school had very little, with many 'classrooms' lacking roofs or furniture. To give you an idea of what your money could buy, £10 can buy a desk, £20 can pay for Literacy training for two teachers, £50 can pay for 5 teachers to attend an HIV/AIDS training session and £100 can give 10 community members fundraising training. In addition, if you are a UK taxpayer we can claim an extra 28% tax back on top of your donation (just say yes when asked at no extra cost).

If you would prefer to donate cash or cheque rather than give your credit / debit card details please contact me at emtaff@hotmail.com. Thanks again!
