Story

The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health. With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

As someone who has fought mental health and addiction it is vital that support is available to all. Growing up it wasn't openly discussed or acknowledged as a disability. Today we can start to open our eyes, talk openly, dull the shame, acknowledge that at some point we all experience dark times and it's OK to ask for help. Many who start with an untreated mental illness go on to develop an addiction, a coping strategy, let's not allow our younger generation stray down this hopeless path.

I am creating 100 different unique and crazy Flip Floppery designs that you can all make at home too!  💙 The humble, bog standard flip flop, it may just be that to you, but look closer, there is so much more than what meets the eye.💜 My 100th flip flop will be an easy design that I want you all to make and wear proudly as someone who has fought or is fighting, or in honour of someone you know that has fought or is fighting a mental health illness. No one is immune, especially in today's crazy world ❤️

Please share for me 🙏
