In August this year my mum had a sudden cardiac arrest, it was by far the most horrific experience for us  seeing her like that. On the day of her SCA my stepdad was thankfully here and gave her CPR immediately, along with the first responders the Air Ambulance team were sent out to bring Doctors and medicines. We are extremely lucky and grateful to everyone single one of them and beyond happy she is still with us and now on a road to recovery. We’re going to be walking 34km on the 14th of May from Corfe Castle to Weymouth to raise money for the Air Ambulance to say Thankyou for all that they do every day, but especially on that day, as well as looking after my mum and ensuring she was safe, comfortable and on her way to the hospital as soon as possible they took the time to ensure me and James understood and were aware of everything they were doing to give us some reassurance in what was such a heartbreaking moment.
