Story

On March 24th, I'm going to run the Weston Super Half Marathon in memory of my grandmother Dorothy.

In 2014, my grandmother passed away, I moved from the States to  Walsall, and my marriage ended the following year. This was too much for me to cope with and I turned to the free services from Walsall Bereavement Support.  Over the months to come, they provided me with coping skills and a perspective on how to live again - but without having that unconditional love of a grandparent.  I will be forever grateful for their assistance during my darkest days. Therefore, I'll be raising funds, for this terrific cause, whilst wearing my grandmother's
golden wedding ring running 13.1 miles around Weston Super Mare.

Thank you for any donation you are able to make towards this incredible charity! Cheers -Emma
