Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This spring (April) I will climb Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. This will be a difficult but memorable challenge, a task that one hopes to remember forever. Sadly, dementia prevents this for so many. Having been personally effected twice by this disease in my family, helpless to its devastating effects on my grandmothers, I want to do what I can to help Race Against Dementia in their work. I am doing something memorable to help fight dementia. I am doing something tough to reflect the day to day frustration, loss and terror felt by those suffering or caring for someone suffering. I’m so grateful for any donation you can manage.
