In July 2021, my lovely friend Howard passed away suddenly from heart failure, he was only 54.

Sadly, I have lost too many friends & family due to heart conditions. However, I also have loved ones who have survived and now lead healthy lives thanks to life saving treatment.

This is a charity close to my heart (pun intended!); if I can inspire others and promote the importance of healthy living and a healthy heart, then the many, many hours and miles of training will be worth it. 

So, I'm raising funds to support the work of HRUK in funding pioneering medical research and education projects into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.
