Ryan Ralph is raising money for Endometriosis UK
“Yorkshire Marathon”

on 19 October 2025

Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.

Story

Hello!

This October I’m taking on the York Marathon to raise money and awareness for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart: Endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a chronic, often invisible condition affecting 1 in 10 women. It causes intense pain, fatigue, infertility, and a host of other debilitating symptoms—yet it takes, on average, 7–10 years just to get diagnosed.

I have seen my wife endure the pain and frustration of this disease for over a decade. From countless GP’s refusing to acknowledge Endometriosis, constant battling for diagnosis and eventual surgeries to treat the disease.

Too often, endometriosis is misunderstood, dismissed, or misdiagnosed.

All monies raised will be donated to the amazing charity: Endometriosis UK

They are the UK’s leading charity for all those affected by Endometriosis who believe in a world where endometriosis is recognised and understood, and where the disease does not limit people’s lives.

Any and all donations are hugely appreciated

Thank you

Ryan
