Edinburgh Marathon 2026 for Endometriosis UK

Eve Scrimger is raising money for Endometriosis UK

Brighton Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.

Story

We are Running the Edinburgh Marathon 2026 for Endometriosis UK 💛

Hi! We are two sisters, and in May 2026, we are taking on the Edinburgh Marathon together, not just for the challenge, but for a cause that means a lot to us both: Endometriosis UK.

Endometriosis is a condition that affects 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth, yet it is still widely misunderstood and underdiagnosed. For us, this is personal. We have seen and experienced first-hand how deeply endometriosis can affect daily life; physically, emotionally, and mentally. That is why we are passionate about raising awareness and vital funds for the charity working tirelessly to support those living with it.

Training for a marathon is no easy feat (especially in Scottish weather!), but every mile we run is a step toward better support, research, and understanding for those facing endometriosis.

If you are able to donate, big or small, it would mean the world to us, and to the thousands of people suffering from Endometriosis in the UK.

Thank you so much for your support 💛

Eve and Molly
