Edinburgh Engineers RFC Doddie Day

Alistair Newson is raising money for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation

Edinburgh Engineers RFC Doddie Day · 6 March 2022

We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

As a club, we're raising money for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The foundation was set up in 2017 to help sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease and fund research. Former Scotland and British & Irish Lions second row, Doddie Weir OBE, launched this charity after revealing he was suffering from MND.

On the 6th March, we are hosting a charity rugby match against Edinburgh University Medics RFC followed by a function at The Golf Tavern all in aid of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation

Any donations are massively appreciated and do really make a huge difference.
