Most of you know that I like to do crazy travel trips but it has always been a goal to climb to Base camp. It's a challenging trek to say
the least not just physically but mentally and I know there will be times where I will be aching and struggling to breathe. Please help me take that next step!
For all the wonderful places I've been in the world I've always been struck by the amount of poverty in some countries and the biggest impact, I find, is on children. There's little or no food or clean water for them, they struggle to feed themselves, then in first world countries, I see how much goes to waste, it breaks my heart. Working in the NHS and seeing how much food is thrown away or left behind is just soul destroying and it always takes me back to my travels when I've seen children struggling to find one mouthful to eat.
Even if today you donate what you would've spent on a takeaway or you find it in your heart to donate more, I cannot thank you enough for supporting me in this goal of reaching £1000. Please. Please donate what you can.
I really need your help to motivate me make this climb, and just seeing your donations and well wishes will make such a huge difference to me. In fact if you donate over £50 I will let you add one song to my Spotify playlist and I'll send you a video of me belting out the tune for 20 seconds in the Himalayas!!
