Story
Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in children, and adults aged under 40 in Australia, yet alarmingly very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how it is treated.
Since first coming up with the idea to sell beanies to raise funds for research back in 2014, the Mark Hughes Foundation have sold close to 900,000 beanies and raised over $24 million dollars for brain cancer research.
As the cold weather sets in, what better time to buy a beanie and support our own, Matt Stonham, who is fighting his own battle with brain cancer.
To get your hands on one (or two), make your donation of $15 per beanie (don’t forget to leave your name), then contact Julie Hyde in the Warehouse to arrange collection.
