Story

The "Selina Hunter Memorial Fund" is EPSAiom's main focus - the aim is to help provide resident specialist epilepsy services on the Isle of Man. Selina was a young mother who lived on the island, who recently died due to epilepsy. Her family and friends have launched this fund in her memory.

There are estimated to be more than 1,000 people on the Isle of Man with epilepsy and everyone should be seen by a specialist at least once a year. Under the current circumstances, neurological specialists visit the island for clinics, meaning it is not possible for this medical necessity to be achieved, even when the case is considered to be serious/urgent.

Please help support us in any way you can.
